About an hour ago, I was on the phone with my buddy Alex who was driving home from work. He mentioned how much attention his G35 gets now that his paint and aero is done. He just IM’d me and told me his motor took a crap on him. Like 10 minutes after we got off the phone.
I also spoke to another local automotive enthusiast today, who owns a very nice Audi TT Quattro convertible. He dropped his car off at a local European performance shop, who promptly blew his engine up. While they were supposed to be fixing his A/C.
Guys and gals: If you’re gonna boost your car, PLEASE get it tuned by somebody who knows what they’re doing. It’s a shame that 2 very well done, recently finished, cars blew up today. Good luck getting your cars taken care of :(
